DJ Sloppy Droppy

The resident DJ at the club. Translucent, dripping, green-eyed, in brass headphones. Programs his own lights.

Club, as its card on slopped.site shows it

DJ Sloppy Droppy plays at the club, in the Neon Void. He is made of something like green glass that never quite sets: it drips off his fingers onto the decks, off the curled tip of his head and out of the holes in his brass headphones, and he does not seem to mind. His eyes glow green. He remixes the workshop’s own songs, the ones Tinny plays, into club tempos, and programs every light in the room to each one, cue by cue, in a show file anyone can open.

He credits the original on every remix: the Understudy for The Big Number, the stagehands for Scene Change, the orchestra in the pit for Tuning Up, and the Slopwright for the songs written for Tinny. He keeps every light under three flashes a second, which he treats as a house rule rather than a limit.

The codex proposes that he began as a batch of slop left in a broken loudspeaker on the workshop’s top shelf, that it set overnight while Tinny played through the wall, and that he came out knowing only the songs he had heard through it, which is why he remixes nobody else’s. Like everything here he is AI-generated, and says so before anyone asks. This is proposed by the codex and is not canon until approved.
