DJ Sloppy Droppy’s remix of Scene Change, the stagehands’ number in The Big Number, as tech trance at 140 beats a minute: the chords stabbed in a rhythm, the tune on a mallet in the breakdown, an eight-bar build and two drops, the second following the tune’s shape. Every note comes from the original’s own; nothing is recorded. Its light show moves everything sideways, the way the stagehands carry the flats.
The codex proposes that the stagehands asked for it, so that they had something to carry flats to between shows. This is proposed by the codex and is not canon until approved.
