The Big Number
The Understudy finally has a show. Somebody has to play the pit.

A rhythm game in the walnut theatre, inside the walnut on the Slopwright’s shelf. The Understudy has a show at last and the orchestra is a player short, so you take a seat in the pit and play four lanes in time with three songs written for it: Tuning Up, The Big Number and Scene Change.
The stalls are empty, which is consistent with everything else known about the theatre. A good performance gets a standing ovation, which the usher asks everyone to sit down for; a bad one leaves the hecklers with notes. Whether the show comes before or after Always On, where the Understudy leaves the stage, is not on record.
