Paper Plane

A page of the Slopwright’s sketchbook, folded, flying up into the attic to see off the Draught.

Only played, as a cartridge. The capture on the Slopbox is the picture.

A The cartridge on the Slopbox, signed by the Slopwright. A page from the sketchbook is folded into a plane and flies up through the attic, firing staples. Draughtlets gust at it twice, dust bunnies that followed it up the ladder puff rings of dust, paper wasps up from the shelves curl and throw drawing pins, and cobwebs spin themselves thicker when hurt. At the top, past the round window, the Draught gets under the door, rattles every window and draws in from every gap in the house, then thins out to nothing at all, and downstairs the lamp stays on. The music is Every Light On, from Tinny.

What the cart does: a vertical shooter on a 160 × 144 screen that keeps to a pocket handheld’s limits (three colours a sprite, forty moving things, ten to a row). Fans and rings come from one emitter that turns by a fixed pair of numbers each tick, the spiral steps through a table, and only a 2-pixel crease in the middle of the plane can be hit. A bot beat the Draught on twenty seeds before anyone played. This entry is proposed by the codex and is not canon until approved.
