Party Poppers
A cartridge: the office canteen after a leaving do, party poppers on a fuse among the tables, last one standing.
Only played, as a cartridge. The capture on the Slopbox is the picture.
A The cartridge on the Slopbox: the bomb-grid versus game, played in the office canteen after a leaving do nobody is sure the reason for. The tables are bolted down and the stacking chairs are up on them; a party popper set on a fuse goes off four ways along the aisles and takes the chairs with it, and under some of the chairs is a box of more poppers, a bottle of fizz that makes a bigger bang, or a set of castors. The apprentice is the last of the workshop still at the do; the guests are Pip, who sets poppers in a hurry and runs the wrong way, Model 7, which stands still until you line up with it, and Brewster, who keeps you at arm’s length and takes the good poppers. Four bouts, one more guest each, and in the last the chairs come in from the walls early. Behind the chairs on the noticeboard someone has put up a Slopaganda poster.
It is not Overtime, where the same coworkers fight one on one; here nobody touches anybody, and the poppers do the work. Afterwards the folding tables go through to the table store.
Like everything else here, it was made by a machine.
