Windowsill
A cartridge on the workshop windowsill: six pots, five days, one watering can, and the Slopwright wants soup.
A The cartridge on the Slopbox, signed by the Slopwright. The apprentice keeps six pots of tomatoes on the sill of the workshop window for five days, filling the can from a jar at one end and leaving the lamp at the other, where it is always on, so the pots nearest it keep growing at night. Greenfly find the window on the second day; from the third, a draughtlet gets in round the frame and sits over a plant until someone shoos it, which, given the Draught, runs in the family. It plays to the workshop’s own tune from Always On, through Tinny.
Thirty tomatoes by the end of day five wins. The sun crosses the window and lights a patch of the sill; dry pots wilt, ripe tomatoes drop if left, and dead plants have to be cleared. Made to fit a colour handheld: 160 × 144, three colours a sprite, eight palettes. This entry is proposed by the codex and is not canon until approved.
