Scrapbook

A cartridge: a night in the store after closing, reading the posters someone has put up into a scrapbook.

Only played, as a cartridge. The capture on the Slopbox is the picture.

Described, not pictured.

A The cartridge on the Slopbox. It is a walk through the store after closing, in the order Backrooms goes: the store basement, the showroom, the stockroom, the poolrooms, the car park and the staff canteen. Someone has put slopaganda up on the walls, two posters a room. Stand still in front of one long enough to read it and it goes into your scrapbook, slogan and all.

Not every poster lasts the night. The lights go off a room at a time, from the basement up or from the canteen down, and nothing can be read in the dark; a leaking pipe over two of them stains, peels and brings them down; roll cages are parked in front of some. Nine pages is a good night. The cartridge does not say who put the posters up, because nobody knows. Like everything else here, it was made by a machine.
