Soup of the Day

Some lunches have somewhere better to be.

The Slopwright, pale with a curled spiral head and a work apron, sits at a rustic kitchen table, chin in one brass hand, spoon in the other, watching his tomato soup rise out of the bowl in a long red ribbon and flow out of the open window, a basil leaf riding along. — Soup of the Day — some lunches have somewhere better to be.

A plate of the Slopwright at work, or at lunch: his tomato soup rises out of the bowl in a long ribbon and leaves by the window. Tinned soup is also the best healing item in Always On.
