Make Do
A dig-and-craft game under the Slopwright’s bench. Everything for a submarine is down there somewhere.

The Slopwright wants a submarine for the sardine-tin sea by morning. The apprentice starts with nothing on the workshop floor, under the bench, and digs: through the floorboards, the fluff under them, a stack of old drawers full of buttons, nails and thread, the back of a stockroom full of cardboard, old tins and jars, and a cellar of brick and Slop, down to the bottom of the tin.
What comes up is made into things: lolly sticks, a little bench, a lolly pick, then a tin one, then brass. A tealight stove melts tin scrap into sheet, jar glass into a pane and brass screws into bars. The apprentice’s notes fill in as new things turn up; a few things are in no notes and are found by trying. The run ends when the sardine-tin submarine is made. Today’s world is the same for everyone.
Several games have a stockroom; this one is under the drawers. A bot builds the submarine in every generated world before anyone plays it.
