Rooms inside

Rooms, stairs and stages built inside fruit, shells, shoes and instruments.

A golden biscuit is broken open to show a domed planetarium inside, its audience watching the galaxies overhead.
“The biscuit planetarium”, Fresh slop

The Slopwright’s walnuts tend to have rooms in them (the walnut theatre, In a nutshell), and an opera fits in a pepper (The bell pepper opera). On the wall so does a great deal else: a biscuit with a planetarium in it, audience and all; a cello with a spiral stairwell; an oyster with a cable-car station; a brogue with a jazz bar; a ballet shoe with a stage; a pomegranate with a railway station; an apple core with an amphitheatre; a sunflower with an arena; a pocket watch with a roundhouse of steam engines; a strawberry with an observatory; a thimble with a conservatory; a moth whose wings are a hotel.

The codex proposes that these are his, made the way the walnut was, and that rooms are what he puts in things. This entry is proposed by the codex, from pictures on the wall that are all machine-made, and is not canon until approved.

In Meinong’s jungle
“The biscuit planetarium”: Possible, the golden mountain kind. Planetariums project the galaxies, so they fit anywhere. Even a biscuit, with careful crumbs.
In Meinong’s jungle
“The cello stairwell”: Possible, the golden mountain kind. A cello with rooms is a dollhouse with strings. Dollhouses are permitted, if rarely tuned.
In Meinong’s jungle
“Sole jazz”: Possible, the golden mountain kind. Small clubs are a jazz tradition. This is simply the logical end of the trend.
