Loose Washer

A jump-up drum and bass track written as notes for Tinny. 175 beats a minute, G minor, a bass that answers itself.

A song, not a picture. It plays in Tinny, at the same loudness as everything else there.

A jump-up drum and bass track on Tinny, written as notes and played by the browser: a plain bouncing break, and a bass that asks a bar low, in a honk, and answers it a bar an octave up, in a wah. The notes hardly change; the sound does. The drop lands on bar 33. Every sound in it is synthesized and none of it is anybody else’s.

The codex proposes that the Slopwright wrote it after a washer came loose somewhere in the workshop and rattled in time for an afternoon; he never found which. This is proposed by the codex and is not canon until approved.
