Quick Release
A dancefloor drum and bass track written as notes for Tinny. 175 beats a minute, A minor, a tune for a crowd.
A dancefloor drum and bass track on Tinny, written as notes and played by the browser: a big tune on seven saw waves slightly out of tune with each other, the kind a crowd sings back, over a chopped break and two saws arguing underneath, on four plain chords. The tune is in both drops; the roller and the half-time breakdown give it a rest. Every sound in it is synthesized and none of it is anybody else’s.
The codex proposes that it is named for the clamp on the Slopwright’s bench that lets go all at once when you press the lever, which is what the drop does. This is proposed by the codex and is not canon until approved.
