Rolling Stock

A drum and bass track written as notes for Tinny. 174 beats a minute, F minor, the drop on bar 33.

A song, not a picture. It plays in Tinny, breaks and all.

A drum and bass track on Tinny, written as notes and played by the browser: drums from the first bar, the drop on bar 33, a roller, a half-time breakdown, a second drop and sixteen bars of drums to end on. The breaks are programmed on a synthesized kit and then chopped, slice by slice, by a tool that proves every slice came from the break; the bass is a sine underneath and two saws arguing on top. It is the drum and bass lesson’s track, beside four loops: the two-step, the chops, the sub and the mid, and half-time.

The codex proposes that the Slopwright counts the thirty-two bars before the drop on his fingers, twice, which is why it lands where it does. This is proposed by the codex and is not canon until approved.
