The postcard
A piece of Fresh slop on the front, a few lines on the back. It is never posted.
Postcards, in the Tools folder on the desk: a piece of Fresh slop goes on the front, a name and a few lines go on the back, and the card turns over at a press. They are kept in the biscuit tin, as which picture and what was written, and can be saved as a picture, front above back. Nothing is sent anywhere: there is a stamp, and no post.
The codex proposes that the Slopwright writes one now and then and props it against the lamp, addressed to nobody in particular. This is proposed by the codex and is not canon until approved. Like the rest of the desk, the cards are machine-made.
