Last Tram
A night tram on a neon coast: stop on the mark, keep the board, and the sun comes back at the end.

You drive the last tram of the night along the night line, seven stops from dusk to daybreak. At each one the tram has to stop with its doors on the mark, let everyone off and on, and leave when the board says; between them it slows for the bends, stops for the red signals, and watches the hour, because the sky is on a timetable too. Four lamps on the tram are its good name, and every missed stop, thrown passenger, red signal passed and platform kept waiting puts one out. Every stop served goes in a stop book, and the line is new every day.
The game doesn’t say who drives or who the passengers are, and neither does the codex. The sunset it starts under is not the one at the end of Side A, which the road never reaches: this one is gone by midnight and comes back for the last stop. Like everything here, it was made by a machine.
