Fine Grit

A dream trance track written as notes for Tinny. 134 beats a minute, D major, a piano riff for a tune.

A song, not a picture. It plays in Tinny, at the same loudness as everything else there.

A dream trance track on Tinny, written as notes and played by the browser: a piano riff of broken chords with the tune along the top, played alone in a breakdown thirty-two bars long and then over everything in the drop, with soft pads, a slow arpeggio and a rolling bass, in a major key that keeps not landing on its home chord. Every sound in it is synthesized.

The codex proposes that it is named for the last and finest sandpaper on the Slopwright’s bench, the one he uses when there is nothing left to take off. This is proposed by the codex and is not canon until approved.
