The Hermit Tin

A can crab that took a soup tin for a shell and the oil store at the foot of the lighthouse for a home. It raises the big claw before it pinches, like every can crab, and when pressed it shuts itself in the tin and rolls from wall to wall, then sits dazed. In The Lighthouse it does not want the store opened.

Like everything else here, it was made by a machine.
