The Foghorn
The lighthouse’s brass foghorn, which blows itself when it is foggy.
Proposed: only seen in the cartridge.
The foghorn at the top of the lighthouse stair. Nobody blows it: when the fog comes in off the oil it breathes in, slowly, and blows, and what it blows are rings of fog that knock a person off their feet unless they duck. In The Lighthouse the fog is in, so it has not stopped.
Like everything else here, it was made by a machine.
