Steam wisp
A puff off the kettle that never went anywhere. Drifts at you, through the tables.
Proposed: only seen in the cartridge.
A puff of steam that came off the kettle and did not disperse. It drifts, slowly and in a bob, towards whoever is nearest, through tables and anything else, and it is cold by now, which is worse. In Teacups it appears from the seventh table and a bubble still holds it; at the hundredth the kettle gives off two at a time. Related to the draught the way weather is related to weather.
Like everything else here, it was made by a machine.
