Seep

Seep is the damp, loose in the workshop and wherever else things are kept. It softens biscuits, rusts lids and makes wicks sulk. It isn’t a fight: it is what happens to kept things in the end, unless someone seals them. Ferrule hisses at it.

It wants kept things to be let go, and fears a sealed lid. It believes nothing should be kept forever, which is an argument with the household, not a threat. It agrees with the draughts that things end, and keeps to itself: it isn’t one of them.
