The fretboard
Strings, frets and three fingered dots. The tune is where the dots are.
Guitar tablature, in the Music folder on the desk and on Tinny: paste a whole tab page and it reads the staves, says what it assumed, and plays them. Drawn as a fretboard, since a tab is a fretboard laid flat on a page.
