The backstage scaffold
The scaffold behind the walnut theatre’s stage, planks and ladders up to the grid.
Only played, in Rigging on the Slopbox. The capture there is the picture.
Behind the stage of the walnut theatre, out of sight of the stalls: four storeys of scaffold planks laid at a slope, with ladders between them, the prop basket at the bottom and the grid at the top, where the scenery is kept when it is not on. In Rigging Props is striking the set from the top of it and everything comes down the planks. Like everything else here, it was made by a machine.
