A homepage

A little house on the web, with a guestbook inside and a counter on the door.

There is no one homepage to show. The icon is a house, and every page on GeoCities is a different one.

On GeoCities a homepage is drawn as a house, which is what the word asks for: a place of one’s own, a door for visitors and a book to sign on the way out. Many of the people and creatures in this codex keep one there, each in a neighbourhood named after where they live. Like everything else here, every house on the street was made by a machine.
