Names on the network
Two words and a number, for anyone who asks. Nobody types one.
A browser gets a name only when its owner presses a button that says so: a random key it keeps itself, and from that key a name such as Damp Stapler 41, an adjective and an object from the workshop’s shelves and two digits. Nobody types a name, so nobody has to read one first; the lists were checked for real people, trademarks and unfortunate pairs. The server keeps half a fingerprint of the key and never the key, so moving to another browser means typing the key in, and losing it loses the name.
Names appear on the daily boards on top.slopped.site, where every run was played again by the server before it counted, which proves the moves fit the rules and can’t prove who made them; on the learners board; and in the trade counter’s log. Forget me deletes the lot.
